Tithes and offerings

1. Give freely
   
   
   1. Matt 10:8 "Freely you have received, freely give"
   
   


2. Give joyfully
   
   
   1. 2 Cor 9:7 "God loves a cheerful giver"
   
   


3. Give in proportion to income
   
   
   1. 1 Cor 16:2 "Each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income"


4. Give generously
   
   
   1. 2 Cor 9:5-6 "Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously"
   
   
   2. 1 Tim 6:18 "be generous and willing to share"
